Could you please note the fact that we had two sponsors fail to forward the pledged support ! so BIG thanks must go to MOTOVISION SUZUKI for helping us with the machines as well as MOTUL oil for coming in at the last minute and supplying each rider, last but not least Craig from DEP for all the prize money, and his energy and support with this 125 series, ROLL ON 2006
The DEP Presentation was held as a joint evening with the NGR Championship at the Tarantella Hotel, Sudbury, Suffolk this Saturday. Over 120 people attended and trophies went down to 10th place in both the DEP Expert and Junior classes.
It was a brilliant night with an excellent atmosphere and plenty of party spirit!
We were honoured to have Gill and Chris Fitch present the trophies and it was a mix of emotions for all attending as the Expert Champion had been awarded to Richard Fitch in his memory and Gill and Chris were presented the 1st place trophy as well as a one off painted Lazer helmet presented to them by Jon Barfoot from Chris Barker, Series Co-ordinator and painted by rider Steve Whapshott.
The 2005 DEP 125 Series sponsorship was massive with a retail value of £15 000.00 and was distributed in the following manner
It was Gill and Chris's wish to move the prize fund down a place therefore enabling 2nd place Expert Jonathon Pettitt to win the 2006 RM125, a £1000 cheque from CRAIG at DEP, a MOTUL Oil package, Performance Exhaust system and engine covers from Hardcore Racing, Michelin Tyres, LAZER Helmets, clothing deal from BAVINS of Diss, Goggles from SMITH, a suspension deal from FULL TRAVEL SUSPENSION & free shirt printing.

We would like to thank everyone that donated to the collection on the night and if anyone would like to make further donations please contact Karen Barker on 07958 181187.
Series Founder, Chris Barker would like to thank everyone that came along on the night to make it an extra special presentation. Special thanks to Gill and Chris Fitch for presenting the trophies and Series Sponsor Craig Elwell of DEP who made a simple dream come true!

Some of the 2005 awards
James Watts enjoys a joke with Gill & Chris Fitch, James rode well all year and really moved up in the series standings towards the end of the season, nice one James
Jon Barfoot picking up 3rd overall in the Expert class, Jon went on to say that he enjoyed the DEP far more than any other British series he had done to date, look to see Jon up front in 2006
Shayne Fay nailed down 2nd overall in the junior class, seen here collecting his trophy from Gill & the two Chris's. Shayne will stay with the DEP next year and hopefully go that one place higher, good luck in 06 mate.
Jonathon Pettitt claimed 2nd overall in the Expert class, and as stated above it was Chris & Gills wish that all the awards were moved down a position, so he had to arrive in a van to load his spoils, Janathon rode hard all year no more so that the round at Lyng when whilst leading crashed and snapped his handlebar off one side, but remounted and finnished the race in 3rd one handed ????
